The Basic Checklist of Newborn Essentials

I've almost completed with the second trimester of pregnancy, at 25th weeks to be precise. Alhamdulillah, things are easier in this phase, compared to the first trimester, i.e., I could eat better, less nauseous, better mood, etc. just to name a few. And entering the third phase somehow makes me a bit nervous / anxious because the baby is about to coming out soon. Hoho, honestly, I don't know what to expect. So, I have several things in mind that I thought would be helpful in prepping for baby's arrival - and shopping for all the baby necessities is one of them. Here I've listed all items (some with pictures) which I think are the most basic, yet essentials and inshaallah I'll try to stock these up before the baby arrives.

You may download this checklist here.

Hopefully, this would be a helpful newborn shopping list for you too.

DIAPERS AND CHANGING
Newborn size disposable diapers
Baby wipes packs - unscented
Soft washcloths - for cleaning purposes
Spray bottle - small size, for cleaning purposes
Cushioned changing pad - best if it is waterproof, something like the image below, but I'm not sure where to find such in Malaysia...
Amazon.com : Waterproof Baby and Infant Diaper Changing Pad ...
Nappy change cream (e.g. Aquaphor) - to be applied on baby's skin where rashes tend to happen upon wearing diapers

Reusable nappies - a very good investment as these can save you lots of money over the long run in comparison with the usage of disposable nappies

Nappy pads - sometimes the reusable nappies don't come with pads, so you have to buy these pads separately.

Extra:
I'm planning to buy baby's items mostly online because it saves time and money, plus it will help me making better purchasing decision as I can do comparison and pick the best choices! I've spotted some prospective online malls like:
  1. Oh Baby Store (Shopee) - physically located in Shah Alam, variety of baby products which are organized categorically. Neatt and awesome!
  2. Momo House (Shopee) - a well known shop, with more than 60k followers, what else can be said?
  3. Anakku (Shopee) - Anakku online mall!
  4. Fiffy (Shopee) - Fluffy as Fiffy!
